Children and Youth Achieve Their Potential

United Way knows we all win when children succeed in school, have safe places to be kids after school, and caring adults to guide the way.

2,357 school-age children in quality out of school time programs, 382 children mentored one-on-one 412 children age 0-6 recieved a book a month through Reading Matters and its partners 390 pre-school children screened for mental health problems 160 teen parents and children served through parenting classes, child care, and home visits 1,500 children recieved materials to help them become ready for kindergarten 200 children engaged in programs  to protect them from abuse and neglect 5,800 individuals engaged in reducing risky behaviors for youth.
