2016 Give Local

24 Hours. 1,440 minutes. 86,400 seconds...
A Window of Opportunity.

For ONE DAY, on May 3, from midnight to midnight, YOU are invited to hop online and spread some goodwill through Give Local Yellowstone, a day of online giving to support your local community. It's part of a national day to promote local philanthropy and is happening for the first time in Yellowstone County!

Why should I give to United Way of Yellowstone County?
We are addressing some of the biggest needs in Yellowstone County and seeing real results. Our community is even in our name. We're helping kids read on grade level, attend school regularly and start and stay on the right track to graduation so they can go on to excel in the workplace or higher education. It's all part of our plan to increase the graduation rate in Yellowstone County to 95% by 2025.
Where does my donation go?
It stays right here in your own backyard. Your donation can:
  • Buy books so LOCAL children can have story time and learn important skills like listening & counting before they enter kindergarten.
  • Sponsor LOCAL mentors to offer support and encouragement to students struggling in school.
  • Increase school attendance in LOCAL schools by educating students on the importance of being in school regularly.
  • Support LOCAL parents by making sure they have the supports they need to help their child be successful. Think transportation, healthy meals and a roof over their heads.

See a trend? You can Give LOCAL and impact OUR community.

How do I give?
It's as easy as a click of a button. On May 3, visit https://givelocalyellowstone.org/npo/united-way-of-yellowstone-county and click on the donate button to complete the donation form and submit.
