UWYC has partnered with Friendship House of Christian Service to continue offering quality afterschool care to children living in Billings' South Side.
Outcomes During FY 19 Grant Period
- 2 hours tutoring, per week for all enrolled students attending 3 or more days, per week
- 252 adult education and/or volunteer opportunities for parents over one year
- 77% of Friendship House mentees increased in emotional maturity
- Individual average growth of 5%
- 80% of parents/Ccregivers attended 3 educational or volunteer opportunities
- Participants demonstrated a 66% increase in knowledge gained.
