United Way of Yellowstone County and Billings MET Transit teamed up to give away $2,110 worth of free bus passes to celebrate Montana 211 day and highlight the importance of this resource hotline. Montana 211 is a 24/7 hotline dedicated to providing assistance for a wide range of needs, one of which is transportation. Public transportation, such as the system offered by Billings MET transit, provides accessible transportation to all, reducing costs and barriers associated with other forms of transportation such as cars.
