UWYC has partnered with Tumbleweed to provide programing and safe housing for at-risk youth and young adults.

Tumbleweed's Programs

Chafee Foster Care Independence Program
- Provides supports to help foster care youth transition to a healthy and successful adulthood.
Domestic Victims of Human Trafficking
- Individualized advocacy based on identified needs
  - Behavioral health
  - Medical and dental services
  - Educational and employment assistance
  - Life skills training
Drop-In Center/ Youth Resource Center
- Offers an opportunity for youth to meet their basic needs in a low-barrier, safe and secure environment.
- Youth have access to food, clothing, and hygiene items in addition to shower and laundry facilities
Transitional Living
- Youth gain and practice independent living skills in a community-style setting with onsite staff support and case management.
Youth Homelessness Prevention - Crisis Intervention
- Emergency services for youth and families during times of conflict and crisis, 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
